Silver Regional SASS came to NMCO after a recommendation by our esteemed client, La Pinon. SRSASS was looking for a rebrand that spoke to their mission—helping sexual assault survivors heal. We were able to develop an identity that reflected their goals as well as the strength of the survivors.
After completing the parent brand, Silver Regional SASS came back to NMCO to create a program logo for their new Child Advocacy Center, build a new website, and have professional photos taken.
We met with the SRSASS team to discuss their goals and stylistic interests. After getting a good idea on a direction for their brand identity, we began with sketches and digitized concepts. The SRSASS team showed interest in iconography of local plant life, but didn’t want to do what everyone else was doing. After research, we found that the delicate, yet resilient nature of a dandelion would be the perfect representation for SRSASS. Moving forward, the brand centered around the idea of a dandelion blowing freely in the wind, while surrounded by seeds of hope.
NMCO nailed the concept and identity and were able to package up the new SRSASS brand and deliver to the client. After completing the logo and branding, we moved on to designing the client’s collateral with a rack card, business cards, and a letterhead.
Developing the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Logo was the next step in our partnership. Because we had established a solid Identity base with their parent logo, we were still inspired by the shapes that could be nestled in the negative space of lettering. We then demonstrated a child now holding the powerful dandelion in an activated and positive movement of play.
What better way to debut a new identity than with an updated website with customized graphics and branded photography?
Silver Regional SASS and the Child Advocacy Center are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive community where individuals can heal and thrive. The logos were crafted to echo this renewing spirit, embodying resilience, healing, and empowerment. The bold teal serves as more than just a color choice—it is widely recognized as the color of sexual assault awareness. This teal is seen in the primary logo as well as paired with a family of vibrant and unique colors for the Child Advocacy Center. At the heart of both designs, a dandelion is integrated, representing resilience and renewal. The seeds, gently drifting away, echo the process of healing—each step forward a symbol of growth and reclaiming one’s life after trauma. The dandelion, known for its ability to thrive in adverse conditions, symbolizes hope, strength, and endurance, aligning with the journey survivors undertake.

Due to the delicate nature of the organization, a safety exit button was vital functionality to ensure the safety of SRSASS website users. When the user clicks the safety button, they are immediately exited from the site and directed to Amazon, a popular e-commerce store, and the Weather channel.
This website was also designed with mobile in mind, knowing that most of the users would need to access the resources on the site quickly and on the go. All of the phone number links can be clicked and taken immediately to the phone app. Users don’t have to fumble to copy and paste but can get the resources they need when they need them.
