Lucky Gonzalez is a born and raised New Mexican and has had the entrepreneurial spirit since he was a young creative. When Lucky isn’t managing social media accounts, thinking of hilarious content for NewMexi.co or keeping the team laughing, he is watching a cowboys game or fixing computers at MDC.
You come up with a lot of ideas for commercials and creative content, what keeps you inspired.
Lucky Gonzalez (LG): My brain has a mind of its own! I can’t stop thinking, maybe I should see a doctor, but it’s a good problem to have. The team and clients keep me creative. Brainstorming with others always gets the creative juices flowin’!
What’s your process for commercial writing and video production?
LG: The entire process is based on our client’s needs and budget. We will discuss needs and wants within the budget and start getting things ready-to-roll!
What’s your approach to marketing strategy with clients
LG: Similar to our writing process. We will sit down and discuss what we’re trying to achieve and come up with a marketing plan. We will evaluate the audience and market to see what would be more efficient and engaging.
If you could give people any tips on marketing, what would they be?
LG: I’m always suggesting people mix it up a bit. There are times when having a serious tone works best, but we see creative humor going further. Don’t be afraid to try new things, sometimes we stumble upon new things that are much more effective than old ways.
As a successful entrepreneur with 17 Years of experience, What inspired you to help create a creative company in the southwest.
LG: When we started our creative company, it was completely based on needs we saw from our computer store clients then we merged with a design agency and it went from there. And it sounded kinda fun!
How do you think NMCO is different from other Creative agencies
LG: We’re a bit different based on our personnel and our creative services. We feel we have a full complement of services for most businesses needs. Whether you’re looking for video, web, graphics, animation, marketing, or a few other creative things, you can get everything here! We think there are many super talented people in Las Cruces and that also inspires us to try harder.
What are your favorite projects that you have worked on?
LG: I really enjoy when we see growth from other businesses based on some of our work. Writing something on paper and seeing that idea turn into a video on a big screen is always cool to experience. I really enjoy all of the projects we do!
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
LG: We have lots in the works! I can’t legally say what we have in-store, but I’m pretty excited about it! 😀
